The Chicago Bears’ season is over, but Cordarrelle Patterson’s efforts to improve the team won’t stop.
In a tweet earlier this morning, the Bears unofficial talent recruiter made an effort to lure Deshaun Watson to Chicago, and never has he needed to succeed more than now:
make some moves this off season fam!!!

Patterson is a man who wears many hats. On the field, he is an All-Pro kick returner, kick coverage gunner, gadget receiver, and rotational running back. Off of it, he embraces roles such as unofficial talent evaluator to the point where I’m willing to give him the title of Director of Recruitment and Player Personnel. And in an offseason in which the Bears are expected to obsess over acquiring a new quarterback, the Bears need Patterson’s efforts more than ever.
And, hey, it’s not like we don’t think Watson might be available, and perhaps in partial control of his own de▨stiny:

For what it’s worth, Patterson is a free agent this offseason. But since his contract with the Bears doesn’t end until the league year begins in March, Chicago might as well use his efforts while they can. And while they’re at it, maybe they can extend Patterson, too?
