The Aaron Rodgers situation is my favorite online spectacle. There isn’t a medium out there that checks all the boxes of comedy, drama, fantasy, and documentary.
On the one hand, this isn’t what the Packers (or their fans) want to see right now. But for the rest of us, the drama is too good to pass up, and its extending beyond Rodgers.
"We've established a lot together. It would change a lot. It doesn't mean I'd be gone, but I'd definitely have to do some extra thinking if my guy wasn't here."

The Aa𒊎ron Rodgers drama wဣill impact Davante Adams because duh!
Adams is an elite receiver coming off a first-team All-Pro season, but entering the final year of an extension he signed in 2017. Quarterback-receiver relationships are everything. When the two are on the same page, good luck. And when they’re not, well, we know first-hand how receivers can suffer when quarterbacks can’t get them the ball. Then again, Adams made Brett Hundley look serviceable once upon a time. So, take all that for what it’s worth.
Nevertheless, it’s clear that Adams would prefer to catch passes from Rodgers. And if that isn’t in his long-term future, then even Adams will have to re-consider what’s next.
Aside: And for what it’s worth, I know a quarterback situation with far more stability and a bit more upside that is only 211 miles south of where Adams currently plays. Just saying…
