I think we are reaching a ligಌht at the end of the tunnel regarding the Aaron Rodgers saga.
Because for the first time in a while, it sounds like progress๊ is being made for a return to action:
Gutekunst mentions no team had more Pro Bowl players. Says culture and foundation is strong. Mentions Aaron Rodgers “continuing his hall of fame career” and winning another NFL MVP — biggest cheer of the day.

Looking ahead, Gutekunst says he looks forward to building off a dominant 2020 season with a returning nucleus led by Aaron Rodgers. Says they’ve been working tirelessly to resolve the issues “and remain hopeful for a positive outcome.”

QB Aaron Rodgers has indicated to people close to him that he does plan to play for GB this season, sources say. That is the expectation. Many factors at play, but with GM Brian Gutekunst saying he is “hopeful” for a positive outcome, there is a glimmer of optimism.

After an offseason loaded with self-made drama created by all of the involved parties, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport hears that Rodgers is indicating that he does plan to play for the Packers this season. This goes counter to what ESPN league insider Adam Schefter has recently reported with Rodgers reportedly wanting out. It’s an old fashioned duel with two of the game’s most respected reporters having dueling sources. That’s fun, if only if it’s in a football nerd kind of way.
So, after playing up through media channels his distaste for how things were looking, it sounds like Rodgers is ready to show up like nothing ever happened. Maybe the IG posts from him and Davante Adams displaying Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen were truly hinting at a “Last Dance” scenario in Green Bay. It’s not a best-case scenario for Bears fans. But if it turns out this is Rodgers’ last season with the Packers, that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. Here’s hoping Khalil Mack sends him out with a bang:

What a ride this has been. We’ve been following sportsbook movement, golf exploits, SportsCenter departures, and more in search of answers. There have been jabs from Rodgers, awkwardness from team president Mark Murphy, and a sense of unease from some teammates as this has played out. And in the middle of it all is Jordan Love. Rodgers’ heir apparent isn’t pushing him out the door, buuuuut he’s “definitely ready” to start whenever. So … what’s next?
