The Week 1 list of Chicago Bears inactive is OUT — and there are ▨no surprises among the bunch.
Phew.
Here’s who isn’t playing for the Bears today, :
Chicago Bears vs. Tennessee Titans — Week 1 inactives
We already knew that defensive end Montez Sweat and wide receiver Keenan Allen were going to give it a go today. But the inactive list not including defensive ends DeMarcus Walker (missed time with a groin injury) or Darrell Taylor (foot injury) after their appearances on the injury report is a huge win. Here’s hoping each can play as much as possible.
Again, there are no big shockers in this group of Bears inactive. Although, I will say that it is notable that defensive end Dominque Robinson is a healthy scratch. Chicago’s football team will have some roster crunching to do in a few weeks depending on what happens with long-snapper Patrick Scales’ back. While that is not a bridge we need to cross right now, I want to make sure that we’re aware of the bridge that is the pending bottom-of-the-roster churn that appears to be coming on the horizon.
