The Chicago Bears didn’t have to wait too long to get under the primetime lights in 2024.
Here we are in Week 2 and Chicago’s football team gets the Sunday Night Football treatment. Sure, they had to go on the road for it. And the competition will be stiff as reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year C.J. Stroud awaits on the other sideline. But the Bears are armed with a young signal-caller of their own, Caleb Williams. The spotlight isn’t new for Chicago’s QB1. But the lights are a little bit brighter on this stage than they are on campus. Whatevs. I’m still looking forward to this showdown.
