Bears Injury Report: Keenan Allen Will Miss Another Game

The Chicago Bears have released their Friday , and it’s not great. Wide receiver Keenan Allen did not participate in practice again today as he deals with a lingering heel injury. Unlike last week, there will be no weekend of speculation on his status for the game, as the Bears have already ruled him out.

Allen isn’t the only one out for this weekend’s tilt with the Indianapolis Colts, but he’s undoubtedly the most disappointing name on the list.

Bears Injury Report: Keenan Allen Among Four Players Ruled Out for Week 3

  • Joining Allen on the sideline in street clothes this weekend will be fullback Khari Blasingame, who is dealing with a hand and knee injury. Blasingame missed the Bears Week 2 matchup with the Houston Texans and did not practice all week, so it’s no surprise.
  • Defensive lineman Zacch Pickens will also miss Sunday’s contest with the Colts as he continues to deal with a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since the preseason.
  • Running back Travis Homer popped up on the injury report yesterday with a finger injury. He was a non-participant today and has been ruled out for Sunday. This is actually not a bad break for the Bears because it’ll prevent Shane Waldron from using him in the backfield over Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson.
  • Offensive lineman Nate Davis has a groin injury that limited his practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Despite being a full participant today, he’s listed as questionable for Sunday’s meeting with the Colts. To be fair, it’s questionable at this point whether he should start, even if he is healthy, but that’s a different conversation.
  • Teven Jenkins (thigh), Kiran Amegadjie (quad), Andrew Billings (groin), Rome Odunze (knee), Montez Sweat (elbow), and DeMarcus Walker (foot) were all full participants on Friday and have no injury designation for Sunday.
