North Carolina has finally announced a launch date after months of leaving bettors wondering when the state would officially go live with online betting. The North Carolina Lottery Commission voted Wednesday morning to finalize the date.
The state will miss out on the Super Bowl on February 11 but will brings betting to North Carolina residents for the March Madness basketball tournament which starts on March 19.
Sportsbooks to Launch on March 11
There are seven sportsbooks that applied for licenses before the December 27, 2023 deadline. These sportsbooks are the only operators who will be allowed to go live when the state launches on March 11. Here’s a look at the sportsbooks that will go live in North Carolina and what partnerships they have.

Underdog Sports Finds Partnership with McConnell Golf
Underdog Sports joined the other sports betting companies in the state that have partnerships by striking a deal with McConnell Golf. The fast-growing𒀰 sports gaming platform will be working with McConnell Golf🍌 as it gains its sports betting license in the state.
Sedgefield Country Club is located in Greensboro and it hosts the PGA Tour’s Wyndham Championship. The club will be working with Underdog Sports to bring online betting to users in the state.
Conference Tournaments and March Madness
Bettors will be able to get off the ground running as the NCAA basketball conference tournaments begin the week of March 11 and the NCAA Tournament begins the following Tuesday on March🥂 19. Selection Sunday is on March 17 this year.
