Sportsbook operators have to partner with professional teams, leagues, or facilities to gain access to North Carolina♍ sports betting. This means there could be in-person sportsbooks at stadiums in the state. A few stadiums have already begun to discuss potential renovations to add a sportsbook in the next few years.

Bank of America Stadium
The home of the Carolina Panthers could potentially add a retail sportsbook to the stadium. Bank of America Stadium could give football fans the opportunity to place in-person wagers while at Carolina Panthers games. With the NFL being one of the most popular sports in the country, a spor🗹tsbook on-site could be worth a look.
The Washington Commanders are the only NFL team with a sportsbook inside their stadium. The New York Jets, New York Giants, and Arizona Cardinals ha🍸ve a sportsbook on stadium grounds💃.
Bank of America is located in Charlotte and is home to the Panthers along with Charlotte FC. The stadium can hold 💧74,867 people and broke ground on April 22, 1994.
PNC Arena
PNC Arena has potential plans to add a retail sportsbook thanks to its partnership with Fanatics Sportsbook. Fanatics has a retail sportsbook i🍃n Nationwide Arena which is the home of another NHL team, the Columbus Blue Jackets. PNC Arena could see a similar situation within the next two years now that North Carolina sports betting is going live in 2024.
PNC Arena is located in Raleigh and it holds up to 18,700 for hockey games. Attendance can be pushed to 19,500 for basketball. It was built in 1997 for $158 million. The Carolina Hurricanes and NC State men’s basketball call the arena home.
What About Spectrum Center and Quail Hollow Club?
The Charlotte Hornets and Quail Hollow Golf Club have sports betting partnerships with bet365 and ESPN Bet respectively but it’s unclear if they will be adding retail sportsbooks to their venues. Nothing has been confirmed and no plans have been announced just yet.

When Does North Carolina Sports Betting Launch?
North Carolina sports betting begins on March 11, 2024. Bettors can start pre-registering on March 1 as sports🐲books will allow u꧂sers to sign up early to get bonuses and make deposits. However, bets cannot be placed until sportsbooks officially launch online on March 11th.
The launch date is the week before March Madness. While North Carolina bettors missed out on Super Bowl LVIII, they will be able to make wagers on one of the biggest sporting events in the country in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
