According to , Kurashev was awarded $2.25 million AAV for a two-year deal. Because the player asked for arbitration, the club chose the term. According to a previous report from Scott Powers or The Athletic, Kurashev had ওasked for $2.65 million on a one-year deal; the Blackhawks countered with a two-year offer at $1.4 million per.
