UPDATE: It’s now official — the Blackhawks are bringing in 26-year-old wing Anthony Beauvillier via trade from the Vancouver Canucks. Beauvillier is in the final year of a contract that carries a $4.15 million cap hit. Chicago is sending Calgary’s fifth-round pick in 2024 to Vancouver.
He has two goals and six assists in 22 games for the Canucks this season and is averaging just 13:39, his lowest average ice time since his rookie season. He has also been credited with 11 taꦗkeaways, 17 blocked shots and 11 hits. Beauvillier was skating 59 seconds short-handed and 1:12 on the p💮ower play per game for Vancouver.
Beauvillier was originally a first-round draft pick (28th overall) by the New Yoཧrk Islanders 𝐆in the 2015 NHL Draft.
