While sneak peeks had leaked online, the Chicago Bulls officially unveiled their new City Edition look fo♉r the 2023-24📖 season.
Inspired by the old Chicago Stadium, which housed the Bulls’ first three titles, the black jersey with a red border emulates with “Chicago” written vertically. The famous “Madhouse on Madison” catchphrase is then featured in the bottom right-hand corner.
, the Bulls point out how the two red stripes mimic the building’s long windows, while the detailed version of the Bulls logo reflects how each stadium gate sign was hand-painted.
What do you think?
Per usual, I respect the sentiment. Considering they have to think of something new every year, I’m surprised it took them this long to pay homage to the old arena. At the same time, why are we still doing this every year!? The execution of this one is pretty darn bland, but I can’t even necessarily blame them for that. When you have to turn out new looks every year, you’re bound to get a few duds.
Anyway, you can expect to get our first real glimpse at these jerseys on Friday against the Brooklyn Nets. This game will mark the Chicago Bulls’ first of four In-Season Tournament matches.
