The NB💯A officially unveiled the , and they did the Chicago Bulls no favors.
The new-look roster will begin the year on Oct. 23 in New Orleans against Zion Williamson and recently-acquire Dejounte Murray. They will then have one day off before a brutal back-to-back set that features a trip to Milwaukee and a home opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder. This will be the second year in a row that the Bulls’ first game at the United Center comes against Billy Donovan’s former team. But the storyline now runs even deeper!
Of course, Chicago opted to send All-Defensive Team guard Alex Caruso to the Thunder earlier this year in exchange for Josh Giddey. Both players will now have an opportunity to immediately remind their former squad of the mistake they made. You have to love a little early-season revenge game action – even if we know another 20-point victory is likely coming OKC’s way.
These first three games are only the start of a grueling first month of the season for Chicago. Eleven of the team’s first 16 games will come against teams that finished last year with a record of .500 or better.

The Chicago Bulls’ complete schedule can be found .
Not only do the Bulls play four back-to-back sets in their first 18 games of the season, but they will also not play two straight home games until mid-November. I honestly can’t remember the last time I’ve ever seen them go that long without a home stretch. When I do my annual deep dive into the schedule, this is something I’ll have to take a closer look at.
Overall, if the Bulls weren’t ready to fully embrace a rebuild, a quick look at this schedule should convince them to do just that. The 2024-25 season is going to be a difficult one, but it should also be a great test for an extremely young roster.
