College football season started off with a swish in Morgantown, West ꦚVirgཧinia.
Preparing for their first matchup of the season against No. 8 ranked Penn State, University of West Virginia students packed the campus for on Friday morning. The former Colts punter brought his popular ESPN talk show to his old stomping ground,✤🐼 and he invited another former Mountaineer to join him.
Current New York Knicks guard Deuce McBride stole the show. Setting up a basketball hoop in the middle of the crowd, McAfee said he’d cover a student’s tuition if McBride sank the shot. He told the 2021 second-round pick that he would get three chances, including one practice shot to feel out the distance. After clanking one off the rim and one off the backboard, McBride made one student very happy.
To no surprise, both McAfee and the West Virginia crowd absolutely lost their minds𓆉.

Here is another :
McAfee mentioned that the student, Logan, pulled up at 6:00 a.m. to grab a front-row seat for the show. The junior will now have the rest of his college payments covered by the sports personality thank to Deuce McBride’s jumper. McAfee also went on to call out two other West Virginia students who had arrived bright and early, telling them that he planned to give them each $10,000 toward school.
I guess now all those students need is a Saturday victory and a couch to buಞrn!
