Memphis Grizzlies fans alr🍌e𒁃ady have a reason to celebrate this season.
The Grizzlies are set to dawn one of the best throwback jerseys in NBA history. The organization will take a trip back to their Vancouver days, sporting their iconic white jerseys in honor of the franchise’s 30th anniversary.
The memorable look features the 3-D teal Grizzlies logo ac♈ross the chest. The short꧂s also feature a red band around the waist and short legs, as well as the old-school grizzly bear clutching a basketball.
Refresh your memory:
To be sure, this isn’t the first time the Grizzlies have embraced the 90s. The team sported the turquoise-colored Vancouver uniforms during the 2019-20 season and completed the look with a throwback court design, too. With that said, this does appear to be the first time since the franchise left Canada that it will dust off its white uniforms. And, as much as I love the bold statement those turquoise unis make, there is something extra fresh about the white tops.
The Grizzlies made the announcement over on Thursday morning, and we will not have to wait long before we see the uniform in action. Memphis will welcome fans𓂃 to their home opener on Oct. 26 in the white throwbacks. Tꩲhe Magic stand no chance!
Speaking of which, in case you missed it, the NBA’s city edition jerseys leaked earlier this week. The Bulls’ new look leaves A LOT to be desired.
