2023 Florida State Season Review
The Seminoles ran the table in the ACC and beat Louisville in the championship game 16-6 to finish 13-0 and ACC Champions. They did everything they꧒ could and the College Football Playoff Committee passed on putting them in the playoff. Instead, they put in Texas and Alabama despite both teams having a loss on the season.
Now, Florida State has to settle for a matchup with Georgia which also is extremely disappointed to be missing College Football Playoff. Florida State is looking for a 14-0 season that won’t result in a national title.
QB Jordan Tra🌌vis was lost for the season in the 11th game vs North Alabama after having another tremendous season. Backup QB Tat൲e Rodemaker is in the transfer portal which leaves Brock Glenn to start vs the Bulldogs.

2023 Georgia Season Review
Georgia saw its 29-game win streak end in the 2023 SEC Championship as Alabama beat the Bulldogs 27-24. The loss knocked Georgia to 12-1 and they were kept out of the College Football Playoff. Now, the Bulldogs look to end Florida State’s perfect season in the Capital One Orange Bowl.
Carson Beck leads the team at quarterback and he threw 22 touchdown passes this season. Daijun Edwards is the top r🥃unning back as he scored 11 touchdowns while running for 818 yards. Tight end Brock Bowers might not play due to an ankle injury. Bowers caught 6 touchdowns in 10 games this season.

More on the Orange Bowl
Since 1935, the Orange Bowl has been a Miami tradition, making it one of the country’s oldest bowl games, second only to the Rose Bowl. It started at Miami Field, then moved to the famous Miami Orange Bowl stadium in 1938, and finally settled at its current home, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, in 1996.
Proudly sponsored by Capital One since December 2014, it’s officially known as the Capital One Orange Bowl, succeeding sponsors like Discover Financial and FedEx.
In its early days, the Orange Bowl didn’t have specific conference tie-ins, often featuring matchups between southeastern and central or northeastern teams. From the 1950s to the mid-1990s, the Big Eight Conference had a strong connection with the Orange Bowl.
Since 2007, the Orange Bowl has hosted the ACC champion, except during national championship playoffs. It played a crucial role in b𝓡owl alliances like the Bowl 😼Coalition and the Bowl Alliance.
