Wake Up and Watch the Cubs Spoil the Nationals’ Comeback with One of Their Own

I wish these ga𓄧mes still mattered mostly for very obvious reasons. Chief among them: because I want to see the Cubs win a lot of games and got to the dang postseason. Duh. Alas.

But I also wish the games still mattered so that a win like last night’s was just a touch more thrilling. The Cubs came back from an early deficit, then got the lead, then blew the lead, and then came back again to take the lead and hold on to win the game. It was fun enough for what it was, but it was merely a fun game, rather th♏an a fist-pumping, h🌠ell-yesssssssss type win.

We have onl𝓀y so much baseball left, though, so enjoy the highlights from a fun game:

Kyle Hendricks is Not Ready to Hang ‘Em Up

M⛦att Shaw Joins Another Semi-Exclusive Cubs Club, Leads to Trivia

Top Chicago Cubs prospect Matt Shaw quickly turned his 20-20 club membership into a 20-30 club membership by stealing his 30th base of the season. These aไre all completely arbitrary c𝔉ut-offs, of course, but they do make for fun factoids:...
