Tyreek Hill Goes No. 2 Overall
It was no surprise to see Chris💃tian McCaffrey scooped up at number one overall in the draft. At no. 2, we saw speedy wide receiver Tyreek Hill go off the board. Hill had a league-leading 1,799 yards receiv🍌ing and 13 touchdowns last season. He averaged 112.4 yards per game and put up his second straight 1,700+ yard season.
CeeDee Lamb Falls to No. 5
In a shock, we saw CeeDee Lamb fall to number five in the fantasy draft. Lamb was a monster in 2023 with 135 receptions and 12 touchdowns. The great debate is between CeeDee Lamb and Tyreek Hill for who should be the top wide receiver taken in drafts. Both players are projected for huge seasons and either is a great addition to your team. It’s interesting to see teams 3 and 4 skip over Lamb to go with Breece Hall and Bijan Robinson to secure an RB1.
Garrett Wilson, AJ Brown Round Out Top 12
Wide receivers Garrett Wilson (no. 11) and AJ Brown (no. 12) closed out the first round. Brown has had over 1,400 yards receiving in each of the last two seasons for the Eagles and h🍷as earned a spot on the All-Pro 2nd Team each of those years. He has caught 18 TDs over the past two seasons and had 106 receptions in 2023.
Despite some suspect quarterback play, Garrett Wilson has gone over 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons. Last season, he had 95 receptions for 1,042 yards and 3 touchdowns without Aaron🥀 Rodgers. With Rodgers back, Wilson could be set for a huge season.
