How do the FedExCup Playoffs work?
Players accum𒐪ulate FedEx Cup points throughout the regular season. After the final regular season event, the top 70 players are eligible to compete in the FedEx Cup Playoffs, and their regular season points carry over into the first two Playoff events. The Playoffs have a progressive cut, with 70 players in the first event, 50 in the second, and 30 in the final event, the Tour Championship.
At the Tour Championship, the 30 players compete with starting strokes based on their seeding. The player with the most FedEx Cup points starts with a 10-under score, and the other golfers get progressively fewer starting strokes. The FedEx Cup champion is the player with the lowest score, combining four rounds at the Tour Championship wit𝕴h th✱eir starting strokes.
