Pete Alonso took home the Home Run Derby crown in 2019 and 2021. He is looking for his third crown which would tie him with legend Ken Griffey Jr. for the most in MLB history. Grif🗹fey Jr. won t🎐he event in 1994 at Three Rivers Stadium before taking the 1998 derby at Coors Field and the 1999 event at Fenway Park.
Alonso holds the record for most career homers in the derby. He has hit an insane 195 home runs during his time competing. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is second on that list with 163. Since the 2020 event was canceled, Al༒onso holds back-to-back titles for winning in 2019 and 2021. Yoenis Cespedes won back-to-back titles in 2013 and 2014.
