Alabama forward Brandon Miller has declared fo✅r the 2023 NBA Draft after a dynamic freshman season for the Crimson Tide. Miller won SEC Tournamꦬent MVP and Freshman of the Year in the conference. He helped lead Alabama to its first NCAA Tournament #1 Seed in program history.
Miller’s freshman season was marred with controversy due to in January. Miller has not faced any charges in the shooting, however, and has been fully cooperative with police throughout their investigation.
While he faced off-the-court issues, on-the-court Miler was fantastic for Alabama. The five-star recr💯uit lived up to the hype in his only season in Tuscaloosa for head coach Nate Oats.
Alabama was upset in the Sweet 16 by eventual region-winner San Diego State. Despite the early exit, Miller♋ led all freshmen in scoring with 18.8 points per game this season while also bringing down 8.2 boards per game. He was an effective player defensively for Alabama, and also shot just under 40% from three-point range.

While the le🦋gal issues are still ongoing for Miller, he still is lis♏ted as a Top 5 prospect in the upcoming NBA Draft in just about every publication. He ranks in the Top 3 in several of them, as well.
The latest , has Miller going 3rd overall. Some draft experts however believe Miller could end up going as high as 2nd overall. The 1st overall pick in this year’s draft is widely expected to be projected generational talent Victor Wembanyama of France.
This year’s NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, June 22nd in Brooklyn, New York from the Barclays Center.
