Stefon Diggs trade rumors have been more than rumbling for some time now. He recently tweeted “Ready for Whatever” during Free Agency and there seems to be a real chance he is traded. Diggs finished with his sixth-consecutive thousand-yard season and if you are just surface-level box score hunting, everything looks good with Diggs’ 2023 campaign. Once you pull back the curtains, the second half of Diggs’ 2023 season revealed something a lot different.
Diggs had 100 yards or more in five of his first six games this season and looked like he was on his way to another monster season. From that point, he didn’t clear 100 receiving yards once and even had 7 games with fewer than 50 receiving yards. He wasn’t seeing as many targets and even saw his snap rate decrease toward the end.

Stefon Diggs Trade Rumors
Even when Diggs was playing well, he has shown frustrati𝔍on at Josh Allen mul🧸tiple times in the past. Will he be traded this offseason?
He currently has multiple years left on his contract so a team would be taking on a pretty si𝓡gnificant chunk of change. He is set to be paid $ꦍ19M this year and has a significant cap hit in future years. There is an out for the Bills or another team to cut him after this upcoming season for $22M dead cap but that is suboptimal.

Stefon Diggs Trade Rumors: Likely Stays in Buffalo
The most likely scenario is that Diggs stays in . This is also reflected in the odds at -250. His performance saw a sharp decline in the second half of last season as he turned 30 years old. That tends to happen to wideouts at this point of their careers. It’s not unrealistic to think Diggs is on the back nine of his career. Despite that, he hasn’t asked to leave and I can’t imagine many other teams would overpay with draft capital. They would also have to be willing to pay Diggs’ contract. Plus the Bills are not really in a spot to help other teams with Diggs’ contract because of their own cap issues.
Stefon Diggs Trade Rumors: 3 Longshot Contenders
If Diggs is somehow made available, I think three teams may 🍌be interested. This includes the Cardinals🐼, Texans, and Cowboys.
The Cowboys could be interested in Stefon Diggs. Jerry Jones isn’t afraid to take big swings when he thinks it matters most. Adding Diggs with CeeDee Lamb could be a lethal combination for Dak Prescott.
The Houston Texans offense took a massive step forward with CJ Stroud last season. Both Tank Dell and Nico Collins performed incredibly well relative to expectations. A veteran presence at wideout could go a long way with the consistency of the Texans’ offense. They also have a ton of cap room.
The Cardinals are a team to watch for. They recently got rid of Marquise Brown and have a decimated receiving c🎶orps. They are very much in play to draft Marvin Harrison Jr but they could easily add Diggs as wel🌱l.
