Baltimore Ravens 7-Round Mock Draft

The NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we’re putting together a Baltimore Ravens 7-Round Mock Draft today.

Baltimore Ravens 7-Round Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 30: WR Roman Wilson, Michigan

Lamar Jackson is the reigning AP and PFWA MVP, and Baltimore will make his bid for a third award a little easier next season by taking Michigan’s at No. 30. In a different wide receiver class, Wilson would be one of the first wide receivers taken. In this class, Baltimore is getting a steal in Wilson at No. 30.

Wilson has NFL-level speed and determination at the catch point and as a blocker in the run game. He played for John Harbaugh’s brother Jim at Michigan and I’m sure he’ll get a glowing review from him.

Round 2, Pick 62: OT Patrick Paul, Houston

Baltimore needs help on the offensive line🧸, and their decision to trade Morgan Moses to the Jets last week makes the need for a starting right🀅 tackle more pressing.

Patrick Paul is a six-foot-seven, 315-pound monster who started 44 games at tackle for Houston. He won with his size and strength in 2022 but cleaned up his pad level and footwork for the Cougars last season and became a more polished prospect. With added improvement in those areas, he’ll become a high-quality, long-term starter in the NFL.

Round 3, Pick 93: EDGE Javon Solomon, Temple

With Baltimore’s third pick in the draft, we’re addressing the need for some help on the edge of the pass rush with Temple’s Javon Solomon.

Solomon’s athletic ability should make him (at worst) a rotational pass rusher at the NFL level. He has a great first step off the ball and his change of direction gives bigger offensive tackles problems. Like Paul, he made significant progress in 2023, going from a player who won with size and athleticism to a more refined product, which led to an FBS-best 16 sacks last season.

Round 4, Pick 113: EDGE Justin Eboigbe, Alabama

We’re going back to the pass rusher well here.

Eboigbe is a versatile player with good hip flexibility and a great anchor against the run. He can line up anywhere on the defensive line and has a powerful first step, but his top gear is average. While his pass-rush profile isn’t diverse, his natural strength helps his long-arm and bull-rush moves.

Round 4, Pick 130: G Cooper Beede, Kansas State

Beebe is a versatile player f𒁃rom Kansas State. He has played left guard, left tackle, and right tackle in 48 starts. He has a strong build a🧔nd impressive football IQ, and he has a deep understanding of the fundamentals. However, he lacks athleticism and explosiveness, making it difficult for him to convert speed into power and recover against quick pass rushers.

Round 5, Pick 165: CB Dwight McGlothern, Arkansas

McGlothern is a ball-hawking cornerback with excellent instincts and ball skills. He can excel in zone coverages, where he scans the field and makes strategic decisions. He can press and handle man coverage, but he’s not active as a run defender. Although he has average speed and athleticism, his skills make him a Day 3 prospect with significant potential.

Round 6, Pick 218: CB Josh Wallace, Michigan

Wallace is a draftable prospect as a wide cornerback. Although undersized, he’s a natural leader with an excellent work ethic. He has adequate athleticism in man-to-man coverage but lacks the size to control larger NFL targets. Wallace has exceptional route-reading skills but an average closing burst. He’s intelligent, versatile, and a good tackler, making him a solid backup candidate.

Round 7, Pick 228: EDGE Jalen Green, James Madison

Green led the country in sacks and tackles for loss but suffered a knee injury in 2023. At 6’1″ and 245 pounds, his shorter strides limit his range, but he compensates with technique. He uses a shoulder dip and has a good change of direction for stunts. He has powerful hands but could improve his hand swipes.

Round 7, Pick 250: RB Blake Watson, Memphis

Watson exhibits an in𓆉itial burst and excellent lateral quickness tꦓo evade defenders or take runs outside with impressive footwork. He demonstrates an excellent sense of being an inside and outside runner, with above-average vision to make sharp cuts. Additionally, he has good patience and footwork to navigate through defenses.
