Howe𝓡ver, there are still some talented football players searching for employment for the 2024 season.

Best Fits for Top Remaining NFL Free Agents
Justin Simmons, S
Arguably the best secondary player left without a home in 2024, Simmons at just age 30 has plenty left to offer. The Broncos drafted the safety in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft꧙ where he played for eight sea🥃sons before becoming a salary cap casualty this offseason. His 30 interceptions are the most by any NFL player since 2016.
Market Value: ♛2-years, $22.2 million (average annual salary $11.1 million)
Best Fits: Eagles, Packers, Commanders
Jamal Adams, S
While A🍃dams is no longer the same player who was part of a trade between the Jets and Seahawks for a package that included a pair of first-round picks in 2020, the 28-year-old brings seven years of NFL experience. The Seahawks let him go before the start of free agency in a salary cap-cutting move, and Adams is still available. A fresh start on a new squad could be what the safety needs to revive his career but there have also been reports of a reunion in the Pacific Northwest if Adams possibly .
Best Fits: Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons, Seattle Seahawks
Jadaveon Clowney, EDGE
Clowney has played on four teams over the past five seasons and is on the prowl again during NFL Free Agency in 2024. As a Balti♍more Raven last year, he posted 9.5 sacks which tied a career single-season high and his 43 tackle𝔉s were his most since 2018.
Market Value: 1-year, $7.2 million
Best Fits: Jets, Dolphins, Panthers

Ryan Tannehill, QB
He may not be the sexiest of the players remaining in NFL free agency, but Tannehill should find a new home quickly considering how volatile the quarterback position is from year to year. His time was clearly up in Tennessee but with 150 contests under his belt, the 35-year-old’s experience is needed in the league. Jimmy Garoppolo, Jameis Winston, and Joe Flacco have all signed new deals to be backup quarterbacks, but there are plenty of places left for Tannehill to call home in 2024.
Market Value: 1-year, $4.9 million
Best Fits: Bears, Broncos, Raiders
Xavien Howard, CB
Howard has the second most interceptions (behind Simmons above) since entering the NFL in 2016. The Miami Dolphins released Howard, at the start of the NFL’s new league year, with three years remaining on his five-year, $90 million contract.
On an appearance on the hosted by former Miami Heat players Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller, Howard stated that he’d like to play for his hometown Texans or a contender, saying “I’d rather take a pay cut to go to a team that’s going to go further in the playoffs. I got my money and stuff like that. I’m to the point, like, ‘How much money do you really need?’ My goal is always to try to win a Super Bowl. Don’t let the money get in the way of winning a Super Bowl”.
Best Fits: Texans, Chiefs, Lions
