LA Opens vs Raiders
It’s an AFC West Division matchup to start the season as the Los Angeles Chargers will be taking on the Las Vegas Raiders at 4:05 pm ET on Sunday, September 8. They face the Super Bowl champs in week 4 and week 14. The Chargers are looking to get back into the playoffs after going 5-12 in 2023.
Los Angeles Chargers 2024 Primetime Games
The Chargers find ﷽t♔hemselves with three primetime games in 2024. Their first is set for Monday Night Football in week 7 as they take on the Arizona Cardinals. The game is actually slated to be broadcast on ESPN+. Their next two matchups in primetime come in week 12 vs the Ravens on ESPN and then on Sunday Night Football, December 8 vs the Chiefs.

Chargers Record Prediction: 9-8, 2nd in AFC West
We believe the Chargers can get 9-10 wins in Jim Harbaugh’s first season as long as Justin Herbert can stay healthy for the entire year. The division games against teams besides the Chiefs are winnable. The rest of the schedule includes several teams who missed the playoffs in 2023 including the Panthers, Patriots, Falcons, and Titans.
If they can survive a touꦅgh stretch mid-season that inc✱ludes the Bengals, Ravens, and Chiefs in a matter of four weeks, they should be able to scrap away some wins down the stretch to potentially reach the playoffs in 2024.
While an NFL season is completely unpredictable, the Chargers find themselves with a schedule of winnable games in Harbaugh’s first season back in the NFL since he coached the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-14. Harbaugh reached three NFC Championship games in a row and lost in Super Bowl XLVII to his brother John Harbaugh’s Baltimore Ravens.
