Seattle opens the 2024 campaign with two straight games against teams likely starting rookie QBs. They open the season welcoming Bo Nix of the Broncos to the NFL followed by a trip to Foxboro where Drake Maye and the New England Patriots led by new head coach Jerod Mayo await. Both are very winnable games for the Seahawks who return m💜ost of their top performers on both sides of the ball especially a defense that should make a significant jump with Macdonald at൩ the helm.

The Seahawks’ 2024 schedule presents a balanced mix of winnable games and tough tests. The NFC West is one of the toughest divisions in the NFL and they’ve drawn the short end of the stick, having to play all three division road games over the last half of the year. The 12th Man will play a major role in Seattle’s success or lack thereof in 2024.
Seahawks Record Prediction: 9-8 (3rd, NFC West)
The Seahawks have an opportunity to build momentum early in the season with winnable games in the first half of the schedule. Capitalizing on these matchups and maintaining a strong record at Lumen Field will be crucial for playoff positioning. The Seahawks play six home games over their first nine contests in 2024 with two coming against their toughest intra-division opponents, the 49ers and Rams.
Also included over this stretch are home tilts with the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. They’ll also play a road game versus the Detroit Lions who they beat in OT last season. The Seahawks will have to enter the bye week no worse than 5-4 if they have any hopes of competing in ♔the NFC West.

Unfortunately for them, all of their division road games come over the last half of the season when the weather in the Northwest usually levels the playing field. In the end, Seattle has a very favorable early season schedule that’ll have to capitalize on to prevent a late downward spiral.
